SAF was brought in to develop a solution that would meet three key objectives for the client.
1. Improve energy security by providing a reliable power supply to the home and reducing power outages.
2. Reduce Monthly energy bills through greater energy efficiency and reduced reliance on the grid.
3. Deliver a practical and aesthetically suitable installation that would perform just as effectively on the ground as on a roof, overcoming the property’s space limitations and design considerations.
Working closely with the client, SAF developed a tailored ground-mounted solar solution comprising of 20 solar panels, two battery storage units and a smart controller.
Result
A solar solution that delivered 20 kW of energy capacity while cutting the clients energy bills by around half. By combining solar generation with the battery storage and smart energy management, the system has significantly reduced the client’s reliance on the grid while providing a more stable and reliable power supply.
